This morning there is no new snow and temperatures are single digits to teens F. Wind is out of the northwest-west at 5-10 mph with gusts of 15-25 mph. At Bridger and Big Sky wind has been averaging 25 mph with gusts to 38 mph. Today will be mostly sunny with temperatures reaching mid-20s F. Tonight, snowfall could deliver 1-2” by morning with a few more inches expected through Monday morning.

There is a trace to an inch of new snow across most of the advisory area, with 2” in Taylor Fork. Winds are 5-10 mph gusting 15-25 mph, out of the W-NW near Bozeman and N-E elsewhere. Temperatures are in the single digits and teens F this morning. Under mostly sunny skies, temperatures will rise into the teens and 20s F. Winds will generally remain light, with perhaps some gusts past 20 mph, shifting to the north and west. No new snow is expected today

An inch of snow fell around Lionhead while other areas remained dry. At 5 a.m. temperatures are near 10F and W-SW wind is blowing 10-15 mph with gusts of 25 mph. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy and the northern mountains may get a trace to 1” of snow tonight. Temperatures will rise into the mid 20s and wind will be S-SW at 10-20 mph.

Yesterday morning a trace to 1” of snow fell in Big Sky and Hyalite. At 5 a.m. skies are clear, temperatures are near 10F and ridgetop wind is blowing W-NW at 5-15 mph, and 20-30 mph in the Bridger Range. Today will be sunny, wind will remain light from the SW-NW and temperatures will rise into the high 20s.

One to two inches of snow fell across the advisory area yesterday morning before the clouds began to break. This morning, temperatures are in the single digits to teens F with 5-10 mph wind from the west to northwest. Today, temperatures will be in the 20s F with 5-10 mph wind from the west to the north and there will be no new snow.

In the last 24 hours, the mountains near West Yellowstone received 5” of new snow, with 1-3” across the rest of the forecast area. Temperatures are in the upper teens to low 20s F and winds are 5-10 mph from the west to north. Today, temperatures will be in the 20s F with 5-10 mph winds from the west to south. An inch of snow will fall this morning before the clouds begin to break.

Since yesterday morning the mountains received 1-2” of snow near Bozeman and Big Sky, 1-3” near West Yellowstone, and 4” near Cooke City. This morning, temperatures are teens to 20s F, and wind is out of the south-southwest at 5-15 mph with gusts of 25-35 mph. Today wind will shift to the southeast-east at 5-15 mph with temperatures in the high 20s to 30 F. Snow will start in the southern part of our forecast area today with more snow tonight throughout the entire area. By morning 4-8” are possible from Big Sky to West Yellowstone with 3-5” near Bozeman and Cooke City, and more during the day tomorrow.

There are 1-2” of new snow near West Yellowstone while the rest of the area remained dry. Winds are 15-30 mph out of the south and west, with gusts up to 55 mph. Temperatures are in the 20s and 30s F. High temperatures will be in the 20s and 30s around noon, before falling through the afternoon. Moderate-strong south and west winds will continue. Some snow flurries are possible, but shouldn’t lead to significant accumulations.

There is no new snow to report. Winds are 10-20 mph out of the southwest to west, gusting to 40 mph. Temperatures rose slightly overnight and are in the 20s and 30s F this morning. Temperatures will continue to rise into the 30s and maybe even hit 40 F. Skies will be mostly sunny with south and southwest winds at 10-20 mph. A light dusting of snow is possible tonight.

In the last 24 hours the mountains around Big Sky to West Yellowstone and Cooke City received 1-2” of snow. Skies are clearing, wind is blowing W-SW at 10-20 mph and gusting to 35 mph, and temperatures are in the teens (F). Today will warm into the mid-20’s with ridgetop wind blowing 10-20 mph from the W-SW. No new snow is expected in the coming days, just sunny skies.
